The boat and trailer crossed into the southbound lane and hit a 2005 Mercedes CLK convertible head-on. The convertible was driven by Amy Graynor, 54, of Kennebunkport.
I just picked up a 2005 CLK500 convertible to drive until my 2010 E550 sedan comes in. I also have an 03 E500 Sport that I lowered and put some 20" rims on. Love that car and want to perform the same mods on the CLK. With the E I lowered it at the dealer via the SDS computer. Very simple. But I don't believe the CLK has the airmatic suspension. So am I lookin at springs? Also would like to install some 19" o 20" rims. What's out there? I searched the forum but it doesn't seem there are many owners performing these mods, or at least not posting pics of them. Tire Rack didn't have anything interesting either. Still need to look at E-Bay though.
Flowmaster Pro series muffler on a 2005 clk500. Deeper exhaust note with a bit of a muscle car sound. Definately not quiet anymore and sure to turn heads at low or high rpms.

I had mine clayed too the weekend before, to get off all the sticky crap the stays on your car. This wax job took the whole weekend, about eight hours total. and yah, my shoulder and arm where sore on Monday. I don't know how easily this wax will come off, I always add water to the pad as I apply the wax, and I noticed this Meguiar's Gold Class wax felt oily when I applied it, but when buffed off it leaves a really deep shine. I hope it last at least six months.
My other projects are new wheels and I have a slite shake at adle that bothers me, with several trips to the dealer already installed new spark pluges and injectors...but still there, very slite.
I love my clk500 and I want it to be perfect.
