I have a 93 dodge intrepid 3.5l and would like to change the water pump myself. My car has been overheating and everyone tells me it is probably the water pump because all else has failed to help. I know that it is in the front and that I would have to be very careful of the timing belt and not to move it. I would like to know if there are steps to make this more easy for me and if the radiator needs to be taken out or not. I would love to save myself a couple hundred bucks and do this myself if possible but haven't found any real good instructions on doing it the best and easiest way. Chiltons manual isn't helping much either. thank you and any help would be greatly appreciated.
