  • When condensation forms as the vehicle's engine cools mixes with the engine oil, it results in the presence of bubbles on the oil dipstick. It also causes a brown residue to accumulate just over the oil level on the stick, and the oil becomes thick, brown and milky.

I guess my primary question is I'm making too much of this specific issue? I don't see any bubbles on the oil dipstick and I'm told that is a good sign it is not causing any damage. For piece of mind I'll probably take it in to have the oil reduced to an acceptable level, but what I'm really wondering is if I were to leave this as-is would it be fine?

    Bubbles on oil Dipstick

I saw this on my dipstick when i was checking fluids, and I was wondering if this is normal, or if I should be worrying about something. they don't have any particular color to them, they just look like little air bubbles. anyways, i would appreciate any info. Thanks

When I pulled out the dipstick I noticed air bubbles on it
