I have a Lexus HS250H, and we have been averaging almost 40 MPG in town. Having said that, we also watch how we drive. We spend a lot of time in the electric mode….We had a 2009 Camry prior to this car, and the difference in gas milage is very noticable….
I figured out how to get up to 37.1 mpg on my Lexus HS250H and climbing. With my new found knowledge of how to drive my HS250H. I’m now shooting for 50 mpg “PRIUS WATCH OUT”!!!
Well i have had my Lexus HS250H long enough now that I have finally figured out how to drive it. Believe it or not it’s a trick to driving this car in regards to getting higher than the 35/34mpg. So far I am at 37.1 mpg in the city and 36.0 mpg on the freeway and climbing!!! It dawned on me how to get even better gas milage two days ago. At first I could only average 26.0 mpg to 27.8 mpg. Then it dawned on me like i said two days ago that I was driving my Lexus HS250H wrong. Since then I have even used the power button getting on the freeway and still get great mileage. Like I said it’s a trick to driving the Lexus HS250H. Once you figure it out the challenge then becomes to see how high you can go with mpg. If you want to know my secret just send me a note and I will share it with you. Right now again I’m at 37.1 mpg and climbing!!! I LOVE THIS CAR!!!!! It’s actually more than I thought it was regarding mpg. Aside from the car having excellent technology. Luxury, style and again it gets better gas milage than even Lexus has stated on the sells sticker / marketing videos!!! Prius watch out I’m shooting for 50mpg!!! With my new found knowledge of how to drive my Lexus HS250H. I find it hard for me not to accomplish 50 mpg!!!
I’ve got a 2010 Prius IV and a Lexus HS250 hybrid. Both cars are great and get really good mileage. If you liked the RX400h, why didn’t you buy it? It sounds like nothing in the car is ‘good enough’ to suit you…again, why did you buy it??
