A: Hi Kimberly, glad to assist you! This Monroe Max Air shock absorber is ideal for vehicles that haul heavy loads or tow trailers. It is designed to maintain vehicle height and can be inflated or deflated as needed, from 20 psi to 150 psi with the vehicle loaded. To check the exact fit application for the Monroe Max-Air Air Shock Absorber (Part No. MA822), please provide us the year, make, model and engine size of your vehicle.
Strutmasters has been in business since 1999, and we’d like to think that we have gotten the process down pat. Unlike other companies, all of our Monroe Max Air Air Shock Absorbers kits are built right here in Roxboro, NC, and we can prove it!
Next, the Monroe Max air shocks. This is another easy mod that just requires removing the old shocks mounting nuts and bolts and bolting the new shocks into placeeasy peasy. However, we had to route the shocks air lines to the Schrader valves, which we located in the rear bumper. Since the trailer could be carrying the weight of a on high-speed highway runs and rough sometimes off-camber trails (not to mention quite a lot of weight in camping gear and supplies inside the trailer/cap combination), I wanted separate air lines for the air shocks.
Here at Strutmasters we are “The Suspension Experts®”, but you don’t have to take our word for it. With backing from popular names like Lou Santiago from MuscleCar on Spike TV and Sam Memmolo from Shade Tree Mechanics and Two Guys Garage, you can be assured that our Monroe Max Air Air Shock Absorbers products are everything we guarantee them to be.
